How Winners Are Selected
We've rounded up an excellent set of judges to select the 4 winners. Each entry will be judged based on the following criteria: originality, fun, aesthetics, and accessibility.

How To Enter
All games must meet three requirements to enter. They must be distribution-enabled, run MochiAds advertisements and MochiAds Leaderboards to be eligible. Games must be entered in MochiAds before midnight April 3, 2009 PST.
In order to be eligible for the FreeSpin3D prize, your game must incorporate 3D assets with the FreeSpin3D technology.
Don't Forget! You must opt-in your game to enter the contest. To enter, tick the “Yes! Add my game to The Top of the World” opt-in box when you upload your game to MochiAds.
Games meeting these criteria that are submitted and approved in our system between January 12, 2009 and midnight April 3, 2009 PST will be entered into the contest. If you would like to remove your game from consideration, un-tick the “Yes! Add my game to The Top of the World” box in the game settings section of your game.

May I submit more than one game?
Yes. You may submit as many games as you would like that adhere to the contest rules and guidelines.
How do I use MochiAds Version Control and Encryption service
(and why should I)?
Version control allows you to make updates like game improvements and bug fixes from one location, all over the Internet. As an added bonus, using this service has encryption added in as well. Any developer with a MochiAds account can use the service.
An added benefit of using version control and encryption is that you can leverage the ability to dynamically make updates to your game in order to more easily sell and manage non-exclusive rights to your game.
To add MochiAds Version Control and Encryption to your game:
- Sign in to MochiAds
- Click the “Add New Game” tab to setup a new game.
- Select ‘Yes’ to add Version Control.
- Follow the steps on the screen to upload and customize your Flash game.

What if I don't want to use Version Control and Encryption?
The only requirement for this contest is to use MochiAds Leaderboards in your game. Your entry, however, is allowed to use both Version Control/Encryption and the Leaderboards.
May I modify the game after it has been submitted?
Yes. That is the beauty of Version Control. You may edit and modify your game up until the submission deadline date: midnight, April 3rd, 2009 PST.
Is there a contest theme?
Yes! Use MochiAds Leaderboards and create a game that emphasizes score bragging competitive gameplay!
Is it possible to receive the FreeSpin3D prize and not place in the top three?
Yes! The FreeSpin3D prize is to be awarded to the best overall game that uses the FreeSpin3D technology. If you do not place in the top three, but have the best 3D game, you can win the FreeSpin3D prize!
Can I win the contest as well as the FreeSpin3D prize?
Yes! If your game happens to place in the top three and happens to be the best 3D game using the FreeSpin3D technology, you will win both prizes.
Where can I get some 3D models to get started?
The folks over at FreeSpin3D have been so gracious as to provide a bevy of free 3D models to get you started on your project.
Can I use my own 3D models?
Of course! That's actually highly encouraged! Just create them, save them out as .3ds files and import them via the FreeSpin3D import engine!
When will winners be announced?
Winners of the World of 3D contest will be in the month of May.
