Gameplay for a game

We are discussing about wich of this gameplays will work better for our next game.

The first will be a columns (but with more special items and without AI) and in the second you need to move a row left or right to get the matches, similar to "Panel de Pon"(Tetris attack) but moving all the row.

The first will be with keys and the second can be done all with mouse very easy or with keys.

I prefer the second gameplay but the coder like the first one.

Second hasn't been done as many times, probably would be more interesting, but the first 0one is simpler and some of the less intelligent gamers would figure it out faster.

I would DEFINITELY choose the second. The first is only good if you want to do a Tetris rip off.

Yes, for this i prefer the second. The first is another Columns with the same mechanic but with any special items and the second is a little more original and interesting for me and i believe also for the players.
